I’m speaking at the Innotech conference tomorrow — come on down!

October 15th, 2008 · Posted by Julie Gomoll

Tomorrow — Thursday October 16th — I’ll be speaking at the Austin InnoTech conference at 2:30. I’ll be on a panel moderated by Susan Price of Firecat Studio and also featuring Conjunctured co-founder Dusty Reagan and The Creative Space co-founder Cody Marx Bailey. Our topic — no surprise here — is Workplace Trends: Coworking and Telecommuting.

This is Austin’s fifth InnoTech (a conference that is held in other cities, too), aimed at bringing together IT leaders from around Central Texas. The goal is to “create an environment where education, innovation, peer-to-peer networking and the latest technology and business solutions are all available specifically for IT professionals.” That means expert talks, panel discussions, exhibitors showing off new products, casual networking and, surely, some swag.

I’m really looking forward to the event. It’s yet another chance to talk about coworking, which I never get tired of. In fact, every chance I get to introduce or (even better) explain the concept to a new audience, the more passionate I get. Plus, I admit I get a little charge out of public speaking in general :)

Here are some helpful links if you plan on attending. At the end of the list I’ll tell you how to score free tickets (and save $35).
